As mentioned, Anyone can play x265 720P with win xp with MPC. x265 720P usually is the same file size as 480P but with better quality so I don't know why you guys are against it. Have you seen PSArips quality and file size?? TVs are getting bigger and bigger so why not have x265 720Ps now so users that discover rmz in the future would purchase a rapidrar subscription.

I think we all know HEVC uses more processing, and most 480p rips are smaller than 720p x265 rips. Also, they don't make 420p x265 rips because they fail in comparison to 420p x264.

FYI: Contrary to what dipshit raada said, most people don't even have a single core PC. Most old desktops can play x265 with a cheap $35 video card upgrade if need be. Even a cheap $80 Android box/tablet will play x265.

Just to jump into this conversion my TV which isn't old & I use a really good media player if need be does not play x265. Have the audio but NO video. My PC's W10 down to XP Pro will play anything but I don't really like sitting in front of my computers to watch a movie or TV series. Been watching newuser comment for awhile now & if he/she is new then she/he should respect what this site offers as we are all damn grateful for the service & yes I have a premium loader its Uploaded.net fast as anything else like 3 to 4 minutes to grab a reasonable size download. Just thought I would have a say.

Personally, I have a used $200 Linux PC hooked to my 50" TV and it plays everything.

Funny, as you all talk as if x265 is some new thing. HEVC is 8 years old! But if you're not on board now, don't even bother.

Wait at least until next year to buy a PC with a CPU that is not vulnerable to Meltdown and Spectre and supports AV1.

Meltdown and Spectre exploits are not going away, and the patches will continue to slow down your PC even more.
