As long as Microsoft makes computers that there windows media player want play x264 without installing codecs , they will always be some p2p groups still doing XviD , many dont want to install players that will play x264 and some people have slow computers that want play x264 very well , also you have that bunch that uses outdated TV players.

Over on p2p XVID TV shows always have more seeds than say mSD TV shows.

So there's still a big demand for it and really, I don't like the MP4 container for x264 I like MKV the best i always remux them to mkv.

Also you can't mux subs to and MP4 like you can a MKV, a lot times if an MP4 loses audio sync you can just remux to mkv it will fix them .

Also MKV x264 a lot time has chapters MP4 dont , MKV you can do way more with it than MP4 all around.

The only thing scene uses mp4 for is SD TV Shows. For anything with good audio and HD video they use MKV. Even SD Movies and Retail SD TV shows are done in MKV

Well not crazy to drop and Xvid AVI In to MKV , say if you have old movie in a language dont speak and its xvid and you have subs you can mux the subs with it and not have keep up with them.

Most movies I download x264 are MKV , 720p bluray , 720p and 1080p WEB-DL and m720p bluray only group I download mp4 sometimes is Vision , I dont download Yifty or mini mkv shit any more, I would download a SD scene release if i wanted a small file.

I had an Atom once, why I could play maybe yifty or some min mkv if i try to play anything with high video bitrates x264 , it would not play right but xvid 720p with high video bitrates would play right. Older computers do not have hardware alliteration like newer ones do.

Now I have a quad core AMD with Radeon HD Graphics and Yifty looks like shit and I can play Bluray and download movies , and leave my browser running at the same time and only use 3% cpu. lol

I still have Xvid movies that came out before the scene started doing them all in x264 , no one said MKV was a codec in this topic ,basically I told you I mux most mp4 to mkv containers .

And when you take a release like this 2.04 GB 1080p , 92.0 Kbps AAC-LC (2CH) vs a 4 GB XVID 720p release it would look 2 times as good xvid anyways. even a 1080p WEB-DL MKV for this movie would be over 4 GB .

Vison release was 2.89 GB and it was only 720p the more pixels the more birates are needed. only reaason I could see someone downloading a Yifty or Mini MKV is if they had low bandwith or caped. Yifty are like axxo of today , Axxo use to do DVDrips xvid 700mb everyone downloaded that had low bandwith only problem is axxo rips looked better than yiffty does with there tiny audio and High res with low video bitrates.

Download this and convert it to XVid yourself.
There are dozens of good, free utilities that can do it in an hour or so, depending on the speed of your PC.
E.g., Avidemux, XMediaRecode, etc.

I used to reencode everything to MPEG2 to play on my DVD player to TV. Learn how to cope with different media and you have a much greater choice.

A 2.1 GB source is good enough to make a nice 720p Xvid.

It's certainly better than nothing, which is the alternative.

Well If I were going to take time to re-encode a release to XVID I would at lest download 720p sparks 5591MB and do it right , but I amuse kashif314 don't want to re encode.

I think this the reason he ask the site to upload one of the 720p XVID rips witch are out just not posted at this blog.

He didn't ask how to encode to begin with , The whole reason I download m720p or 720p bluray is so I dont have to bother with encodeing , I could have done watched it.

The only reason I came in this topic was because the trolls were picking kashif314 for wanting and XVID release and they download Yifty releases that look worse than the XviD releases so they have no room to pick .I already have a copy of this movie. One Time a few years ago , I was on another site I had a crappy slow computer then, so mostly downloaded 720p XVID , and they posted 720p x264 Bluray so I ask the staff to please upload and 720p XviD release that was out.

Some Fool, told me that if I wanted smaller i needed re encode it down . So I told him off because I had an slow computer it would took me forever to re-encode.

Witch now that I have a faster computer , and unlimited bandwidth, I just watch and download what I wish.

I know how re-encode and it does not take very long on my machine now , but I really dont like fooling with it so I dont do it much no more.

How would you like it ,if tables were turned on you low bandwidth users that download Yifty and other small releases and sites only posted 4GB and up releases and it would take 2 days to download or your capped and it would use up all your bandwidth , Well the guy in the 1st post have been waiting 6 days , for a release that never got posted here .

If it was me, I would had just went to another site and downloaded 6 days ago before links went dead everywhere .

Ok I am the one who made this mistake of requesting. Seriously I wonder why someone replies to a topic when they have nothing to offer or help. I asked a simple question which is requesting a 720p BDRIP in AVI and there would have been two possible answers. Either someone posts the rip I requested or just ignore it if they cant help. But, instead they started a pointless discussion.

Like "the truth" have mentioned above, I have my reasons for AVI request. I watch all my movies on PS3 and PS3 dont play MKV directly. Yes I know I can stream it via media server or convert it but I dont like this hassle of doing it when something is available in AVI already. If I like the movie then I buy the Blu-Ray disc simple as that. Also most of the times a converted file doesn't play well and there is sometimes problem of audio out of sync and screen froze in seeking and rewind. This MP4 release has AAC High audio and in order to play it on PS3 I need to convert it to AC3 which I dont want to.

Hats off to "the truth" for replying and proving the point. You rocks man
