I couldn't see anything different between the 2 releases, NTb has now released a REPACK version for all 4 episodes of Yellowstone this season, and the original releases have played perfectly for me for all 4 of them, no audio-sync or frame rate problems.

I couldn't find anything about it on predb either, there wasn't a NUKE or anything being said about any of the releases.

If you look around you can sometimes find the reason for a repack.

glhf put this on their repack release of S05E03: previous release had oos subs and worse audio than this release

I couldn't find any NTb repack release on another site with this type of info.

NTb usually does a repack due to what they perceive as the repack having better audio. I have tested it and they are correct if you listen to the audio tracks by themselves in a good sound studio. If you are just watching on your TV like a normal person then you will not be able to tell any difference. The first time I seen a repack from them that was the reason listed and they have never listed the reason again but the pattern is there.

Thanks for the insight!

This is very likely the reason since I do watch them on my TV, and I couldn't detect any difference between the 2 releases for all 4 episodes.

I guess OOS subs is a possibility too since I never have subs turned on, I find them way too distracting, so I'd never know what the subs were doing.

I have never liked the Webrips over the WEB versions due to my perception that the audio on Webrips was always sounding "Fuzzy", as in distorted. I am glad to see some group actually took notice.

If it's something I've already watched, I'm not going to download the repack. However, if it's something I'm going to archive for a few months/years without watching, I'll grab the repack and replace the other, just to be safe.
